Deer Coffee opened its doors on San Marco Boulevard with one conviction: that good coffee shouldn't be rushed. We source green beans from farms that treat their land well, roast them in small batches right here in Jacksonville, and pull every pour-over by hand.
Our kitchen bakes from scratch every morning — croissants, sourdough toast, seasonal fruit tarts — because a great coffee deserves a great pairing. No shortcuts, no drive-thru rush, just a space where you can sit, stay, and actually taste what's in your cup.
Built for lingering
Our San Marco location was designed the way a good café should be — with room to breathe. High ceilings, natural light through tall windows, a long communal table for working or catching up, and a handful of smaller tables for two.
There's Wi-Fi, but we won't guilt you for putting the phone away. The music is quiet. The coffee is the main event, and the people around you are just as much a part of it.
